Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time) Location: AFC Urgent Care - Union City, NJ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-8:00 PM + Occasional Weekends Are you an energetic, bilingual professional looking to grow in a fast-paced medical setting? AFC Urgent Care in Union City is seeking a Part-Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our dedicated and compassionate team. This is a great opportunity to work weekday afternoons with some weekend flexibility, all while playing a key role in delivering exceptional care and service to our patients. About the Role: As the first face patients see when they walk through our doors, you'll help create a welcoming and professional environment. You'll be responsible for managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities: Greet and register patients; collect personal and insurance information Assist patients with online registration and forms Answer questions about services, wait times, and procedures Schedule and confirm appointments and follow-ups Maintain and update patient records and charts Verify insurance details and handle billing/co-pay processing Keep the front desk clean, stocked, and organized Communicate effectively with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Answer phones and assist with administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For: Experience: 6 months-1 year in a fast-paced medical front desk or receptionist role Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using medical software, online forms, and Microsoft Office Customer Service Mindset: Friendly, helpful, and always patient-focused Weekend Availability: Must be open to working occasional weekends Strong Communication & Multitasking Skills: Able to manage phones, patients, and paperwork seamlessly Why Join Us?
