A-Line is now hiring an Instrument Assembly Technician in Glencoe, MD. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Instrument Assembly Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $21.18/hr to start.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Instrument Assembly Technician Highlights

· Hours are Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

· This position is a contract assignment to start and we are looking to make this position a permanent hire.

Instrument Assembly Technician Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components for various instruments using power/hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Integrate subassemblies into complete instruments, maintaining tight tolerances.
• Perform wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and mechanical fitting.
• Conduct quality inspections and test assemblies according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument components during and after assembly.
• Maintain detailed device history records, including tool usage and serial tracking.
• Identify product/process defects and recommend improvements.
• Cross-train team members and provide instruction on best practices.
• Follow all GMP, safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance protocols.

Instrument Assembly Technician Patient Registration Representative Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of manufacturing experience , OR
  AA technical degree with 1 year of experience in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in electromechanical assembly work.
• Skilled in the use of torque drivers, gauges, calipers, and related mechanical tools.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and measuring dimensions accurately.
• Comfortable with computer systems, Windows environments, and basic data entry.
• Ability to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks in a production setting.
• Proven troubleshooting and continuous improvement mindset.
