Are you a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Accounting Clerk to join our consulting team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable process, data entry, invoicing, check requests, disbursements, SAGE, coding, transactions, tracking, and effective email communication. Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in the processing of accounts payable, including managing invoices, check requests, and disbursements.
2. Performing data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
3. Utilizing SAGE software for various accounting tasks.
4. Coding and tracking transactions, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
5. Maintaining financial records and reports, providing these to superiors when required.
6. Handling email communications related to accounts payable and other financial matters.
7. Collaborating with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.
8. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and guidelines.
9. Providing excellent customer service to clients and vendors, resolving any issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Accounting Clerk position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Data Entry, Invoices, Check Requests, Disbursements, and Communication.
2. Proficiency in using SAGE software.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
4. Excellent data entry skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Ability to code and track financial transactions effectively.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in email communication.
7. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
9. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
